Antonio Weiss, a native of Asuncion, Paraguay, majored in Production/Drama at Loyola University in New Orleans, and later moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is currently a Producer/Director in Santa Fe. He has won prizes at the Chicago International and Houston International film fests in Live Action Shorts, Short Documentary and Feature Screenplay-Writing.

Antonio produced and directed a 30-minute live action short film, THE HOUSE ON NORMAL STREET, about a nurse who takes revenge on a group of human traffickers. The film was nominated for best drama at the New Mexico Filmmakers Showcase 2017.  

Weiss is featured in a role of  Vivi, a flamboyant art dealer, in a scene opposite Emma Stone in Showtimes’s THE CURSE (2023/2024).

Weiss’ short comedy, SYMPHONY IN C-NOTE (2023), is a wonderful comment on the human condition and is an official selection at the Santa Fe Film Festival, as well as several others around the world. Weiss also plays one of the characters.

Weiss is also developing a period piece to be filmed in Paraguay, South America, based on a true story.
